"Slice Audio to New MIDI Track" to CLIPS?

Post by Stelvio » Thu Mar 15, 2012 9:08 pm

Hello,
very simple question but couldn't find how to do it.
How can I use the slices made by the function "Slice Audio to New MIDI Track" as clips?
I would like the slices obtained to be clips.
How can I convert those slices to clips?

Thanks for any help.

If we were able to drag audio from Simpler/Sampler back into Session/Arrange, it'd be real easy.

Right click on the audio in the si/ampler and you should be able to show it in the browser. The other files should be with it, then you can drag those back in.

Or you could make a midi file and have each hit play, then freeze it and drag those into an audio track...

you could go to the sampler window in the drum rack - crop the audio and then go to the cropped audio folder for that als and drag the audio into a audio slot in session view. slicing audio is one of those things that Live does well but leaves you wishing it could be done better. see also previewing single slices.... :|
