How many tracks can I have???

Post by tomperson » Tue Mar 15, 2005 1:22 pm

Hi all,
This is a simple question: Is there a limit to the number of tracks you can have in Live? For example, aux sends have a limit of 12. Does it happen a similar thing with normal tracks?

Thanks.
Turn up the radio. Turn up the tape machine. Look into the sunset up ahead. Roll the windows down for a better taste of the cool desert wind. Ah yes. This is what it's all about. Total control now.

none that I know of. Although there are practical limits: For instance, I can only stream 35 tracks off my harddrive at once. And my ram isn't that much, so I can't play a hundred files from ram, etc...

(but I just tried setting up a bunch of tracks for you.. I stopped at track number 165)

as far as i know the limit should be defined only by the resources of the computer (processor and ram)
but i'm not 100% sure
