shoulda coulda..
hrhr...
if you think it sounds good enough .. then that's that..

sorry... I don't have experience with it ..
but from what I see/hear on the site it looks cool enough..

I'd test the demo extensively if I were you..
to make sure there are no crashes..
I'd also check other stuff on the market..
buying it ONLY because it's on sale isn't a wise choice in general..

i have it. all the toontrack stuff def makes ableton more crashy, mainly this plus and the new keyboard one. They are really nice to use in general though. basically it feels like if i click around too fast it'll crash live. Usually live does an ok job recovering from the undo history.

ez mix is nice if you just want to throw some stuff on there to see what goes down, however for tasks in which i know where i want to end up the ableton devices work fine for me.

i use the Waves CLA artist plugs.. same concept and to me, it's great cuz it'll get me to about 80-90% of what i want, fairly quickly.. and then just adjust with other plug's if needed.. I also use tried the Waves JJP and Maserati series, and it's a totally different sound for each artist..

hmm...
I really liked the Kramer series of those hybrids.. the jjp is cool too..
these are going for 60$ each right now..
so are many other waves plugs..
(like c1 c4 and maxxBass)

that's why I say..."shop around"
