Novation Zero SL MKii Issues

Hello, I can't seem to get my automap to work properly. The top LED knobs don't work at all no matter what I do in automap (they do work in live mode though) but the twist knobs right under them do. How can I get the top LED knobs to start working in automap? (using 3.0 right now btw)
