clyphx help please...

Post by maily » Tue Apr 17, 2012 9:29 am

how can i make clyphx clips trigger faster?

i've set up some clyphx clips to do things to audio files like:
set a 1 bar loop,
half loop length,
double loop length,
loop off,
loop nudge >
loop nudge <

and my problem is, that despite changing the clip length to 1/16 and changing the clyphx clip's quantization down to 1/16 the audio clip's looping still responds much slower.

thanks in advance =]

Have you tried setting a negative track delay on the clyphx track. Not sure if it will work, just an idea.

i like that idea!! thanks =]
will try that right now

.....tried it, still no joy.

it seems to be the way that ableton's looping controls are responding to the messages coming from clyphx.

right.....

having tried the same things with the ableton key commands that perform the same functions, and the project and clip quantize settingsset to 1/4 bar. it seems to be that it is ableton's looping function and controls that force to a 1 bar quantization.

is there any way to change this?
