well written, as always. Spring is doing the same with me.

stepping back I think you hit on some good points. get a grip on what needs to be done. make a list. decide what you NEED versus what's nice to have. set limits on the scope of what you're doing, identify what you won't or can't do so the decision to say no will be quick. take a large task and break it down. then settle in and focus on the short term smaller tasks, decide which ones will be done in the short term. I like to keep that list around and as I knock things out I get wind in my sails from seeing things checked off. then as the project goes on I get motivation from seeing the xes (plural of x?) creep down the list and just those last few tasks are left.

oh, sorry, what I meant to write is that you and your web site suck. ;)

This is a great article. I've read several of your pieces (I'm a writer too) and you have a good style; and some really useful advice.

I'm working towards getting my tracks ready; and will then be converting them into audio samples and loading them into one set - I'll be straight over to your site for guidance when I do!

I've read all of your articles (some more than once) and I find them really, really well-written and insightful (especially the one on mixdowns!).

I've never said thanks, so here:

BIG THANKS

:)
