I have 3 hardware synths. Usually I only connect 2 at a time as external instruments. I use one keyboard to control them all (my axiom). Now i have 2 templates on my axiom. ONe that is set up to control one synth and another that is set up to control a different synth.
When i am tweaking one synth i don't want it to unintentionally tweak the other (only 1 track i armed at a time). is there a way I can prevent this from happening?
multiple hardware synths, midi and mixed messages.

Set the templates to different midi channels (if this is possible). Then select these channels in the track's midi-in dropdown menu.
