Different beasts. Electric is a simulator; Soniccouture is a sample library.

i really like the Broken Wurli, great distortion and grit.

the new EP73 Deconstructed looks pretty cool too, haven't tried it out yet though.

yeah, i own electric so realize it is is simulation. i also own soniccouture instruments and think they are great.

when i say big step up, I mean essentially does it really capture the sound and feel when playing of wurli and rhodes? i like electric, but sometimes feel it sounds synthetic (yes, it is a synth so can't be avoided).

on the other hand, ome sample based rhodes i've played before are limited in terms of their responsiveness to playing style and nuances.

so just wondering, for any key players out there who have tried soniccouture and electric, which do you prefer overall?

yes, completely subjective, but would like tsome opinions before forking out $90

didn't try these (but...)
as far as my experiences with soniccouture sample packs..
they're all awesome... and without compromises on quality
these should be no exception..
