Using a "Blue" USB Mic in live

Post by blazinFender » Wed May 16, 2012 9:48 pm

Hello,

I can't seem to get my blue mic which is a USB Mic to work in Live? Anyone know why or have any tips. I have both a M-Audio (ASIO external soundcard), and my DirectX/MME Windows driver and can't get it to work in Live. I get some errors, but didn't jot them down, they come and go. I tried everything and the instructions that come with it only relate to the mic itself (no recording software) help, of course.

Anyone using a USB mic that works and can give me the settings that I may not have tried until Support gets back to me, would be greatly appreciated. Also, I have not checked on this yes, but does the Live LE version let you use 3rd party instruments, I know the lite version of Pro-Tools does not appear to let you.

Thanks in advance,
Roger
