Can I simple rename an Ableton song file and the folder its in in the Mac OS finder? Is that ok or would it mess something up?

Usually I start a song it's just called something generic like "new song" then after I put some lyrics to it.. it has a name.

Create a test project and try...

I would "save as" + "collect all" and delete the old version.
