[AUREX DEVICES] MFX-1: .adg master effects rack
AUREX MFX1 is an Ableton Live effects rack intended for live performance and DJ sets.
I tried to focus on very usable effects instead of over the top sound processing you will never actually use. Don't get me wrong, these effects are not the standard simple stuff you can make yourself in 2 minutes - check the vid! This rack is a normal Ableton .adg file so it's just drag and drop - no M4L or anything else needed. And best of all, it's free!

Enjoy!

Hope you're having as much fun with it as I did
Also, if this rack is to heavy for your set CPU wise, you can very easily de-activate effects.
For each effect, there's a special dedicated rack that you can turn on or off if you don't need use it.
You can also de-activate a whole section (for example if you don't need Noise Lab).
One more thing for users who don't have access to the Ableton Collision instrument:
Collision (or more exactly Corpus, the effect based on Collision) is needed for only one effect in the rack (SubWay).
If you don't have Collison / Corpus, that's the only effect that will not work.
You can just ignore that and use all the other effects without any problem.
Love to hear some more reactions, always very nice to read!!

It is awesome! May make a few additions/adaptations, but really great. Thanks for the hard work.
Re: [AUREX DEVICES] MFX-1: .adg master effects rack
I updated the MFX1:
• There is now a LITE version included. The LITE version doesn't use Collision / Corpus so everybody can use this.
Because of that, it's also a little bit more cpu friendly (corpus is quite heavy to the cpu).
Collision was needed for only one effect in the rack (SubWay).
I made a comparable effect without using Corpus (Collision) for the LITE version.
Other than this one effect, both racks are exactly the same.
• Subway has a tiny bug fix: when you used it before there was a really quiet clicky sound when opening the rotary.
Apparently, live's auto pan being activated was the cause of this. Auto pan is now always on and the clicky sound is gone.
Cpu wise, it doesn't make any difference as the pan effect is super light and makes no noticeable difference.
I couldn't detect any other problems but if you do discover other bugs, please let me know so I can update the rack.

Nice job!!!
I have a problem with live suite 3,on UPPER automation in REMIXER,my audio track has volume increase for a moment..(es:automation 1-8 linear up 128)...
going in UPPER I saw this problem is UTILITY of LIVE(I think)...
Thanks for all from Italy

You were right. The utility was not on 0 gain when the mute already switched off.galex wrote:Nice job!!!

I fixed this and the transition is smooth and perfect now.
Please re-download the .adg file on my site and replace the old file.

Hey man, sorry but I can't replicate your problem anymore with the updated file.
You're sure you replaced the old one with the correct file?
Transition is perfectly smooth here without any volume jumps and I can't find anything that could cause them anymore.
If you discover something new, let me now so I can try to help you out.

Re: [AUREX DEVICES] MFX-1: .adg master effects rack
Just checked it, and I guess something went wrong with the replacement of your .adg file because you're still using the old file.
The gain of the utility in the Upper effect is mapped to a Macro from +8 to -8.
In the old version (the one you're using right now) it's mapped from +10 to -7, causing a volume boost when the mute goes off in the middle of the rotary (at 64).
So try downloading the new file again and make sure you delete the old one first!
Cheers

Ok,the gain of the utility in the Upper effect is mapped to a Macro from +8 to -8..but the problem is when the mute goes off in the middle of the rotary (at 64)...set this Macro DEVICE ON(at 127),now works perfectly..
Thanks..
Thanks..
