Are Album Teasers a good idea or a giveaway?

My new EP release is being delayed due to the mastering people being very busy.
Is it a good idea to put a 2minute teaser (6songs/20secs each) online now so people stay interested or will it distract people for when the actual album is out?
Is it a good idea or bad idea to let them know whats to come?

Haha no I never met him. Long story short, my favourite episode of the Simpsons is the baseball one with him in it and I thought he was great so why not name it after him!

I want to give some advice or be helpful in some way but PR is my weakness. I suppose if you want to drum up excitement for your release then I would say 2 mins is a bit much? maybe a 30 second clip of your strongest track could be more effective as a 'teaser', and if you could master the 30 second clip yourself to give the sound a more full and complete quality it would give the teaser the intended impact you desire

it's a good idea if it shows off your music (like yours does). It's a bad idea if it's a glorified video/photo shoot, much like the Killer's new video promoting their upcoming album.
