MIDI Katapult Help

Hello all. I just purcahsed Midi Katapult, and am a bit confused on how to set it up with Ableton. How do I being to map to the default pages?

i was having a lot of trouble getting my lauchpad to talk to katapult and then to ableton as well.

- the katapult seems to look for the lauchpad at the usb-port it initially was plugged into when connected the first time.
- even though i tried all the ports on my laptop i still was not able to connect my launchpad
- then (with disconnected launchpad) i removed all the lauchpaddrivers in the devicemanager in windows (following this guide to show the disconnected devices)

- i removed and reinstalled the launchpaddrivers and katapult connected nicely

- to get katapult to talk to ableton i installed a tool called loopmidi (http://www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/loopmidi.html)
- i setup two midichannels called Lauchpad1 and Launchpad2
- then configured katapult as follows:

Input = Launchpad 2
Output = Launchpad 1

(the Launchpad 1 & Launchpad 2 are ports set-up by LoopMIDI)

in the live midi settings you have to setup the ports like this:

Input = Launchpad 1
Output = Launchpad 2

now everything works fine.

My god, dude, you have made my day. I've been searching this for many weeks. Now I can use momentary buttons in ableton using katapult
