how to reverse a midi clip? And, how to delete current open
How do you do basic midi-transform functions to clips? REverse notes, retrograde, inversion, etc etc etc...
please dont say "grab the left and right ends of the clip handles" because I need more than that, I never can get consistent or even-ly reverse clips that way...
DO YOU KNOW HOW TO REVERSE MIDI NOTES IN A CLIP?
secondly, how do you delete projects in the file menu? it would be really usefult o me to be able to go through the "recent projects" file menu, and delete some failed song ideas as I go through them...

Re: how to reverse a midi clip? And, how to delete current open
what, grabbing the left and right and dragging them? whats the secret? does that actually work properly for you? how do you know when the notes are perfectly lined-up in reverse?
Re: how to reverse a midi clip? And, how to delete current open
the live solutions are clumsy...
1. use "midi stretch" :
choose all notes..context menu "stretch midi"...
drag the left border marker over the right border marker..
adjust loop brace..
2. export midi... drag midi clip to reaper (or any other DAW).. hit reverse...export back
I think one brave soul can build a m4l device that does this...
