ill read this. Not to diss on Ableton, but when I used to use Sonar, this process was easier, they have a clone track fucntion., done in a snap

for Wishlist maybe

yea, Logic uses a "freeze" function that is very fast.
its been asked for countless times in the wishlist.

if you can, check out the book "Ableton Live 4 Power!" it has alot of tips and easy explanations for the stuff you're asking. Its an excellent supplement to the manual, and is written in an extremely inviting way for the reader.
