Motu Ultralite Users- Record what you Hear with Ultralite ?

if I want to record something I'm playing in itunes or off a dvd or something into ableton does the ultralite have the feature to record what it's hearing?

route a pair of outputs on your card to inputs.

thank you and I'm aware of those options, was just thinking that the Motu was high enough of a quality card to offer this feature possibly and if anyone had used it?

Yes you can do it internally.
Select output 11/12 (on the mk3 hybrid at least) as your main output in the motu audio setup, then select this as your input in live.

wouldn't that affect the regular main output in live though?

Wonderful! This was very helpful.
I can now record snippets of videos without ripping the whole video!
FYI Mk3 Hybrid
On Windows I selected the 'Sound' settings in control panel to route 'general' audio to 'ADAT A 1-2' which I have connected to an Expert Sleepers ES-3.
