I already got it. It's soundmangling possibilities are freakishly mindboggling. What a loop generator for live this is!

i've been playing around with it as well. big fan of Metasynth for years now. so awesome to finally have it on OS X. it's a seriously underrated sound design tool. with Photoshop it's a total monster.

screw getting just the mini. get both!! use the iMac (or a PB) as your main box and then hook up the Mini via firewire as a "Logic Node", now you got some booYAH processing power. LOL.
man i wish Ableton would develope a "node" functionality, i would love to have a stack of MacMini DSP's with ultra low latency

I'm on mac with Logic and Live. I won't even download the demo of Metasynth for fear I'll want to buy it.
I need an Ozonic and 1.5 ghz powerbook before I can think of software again.

Picked up the (70MB!) demo last night... been a long time since I've used it, but yeah, it's a crazy effin' ton of inspiration. Love the idea of piping it into Live, will give that a try.
Any room left on that card? Hmmm...
