Tutorial site lynda.com that is.

I have just finished watching the Audio Mixing Bootcamp http://www.lynda.com/Audio-Mixing-Maste ... 006-2.html series by Bobby Owsinski. Its a series on mixing aimed more at beginners. For what it was I thought it was good. Thing is, it was free. I think its free to watch until the 27th of July. If you are on the newer/fresher side of this whole music production kick, even if you don't have time to watch all 8hrs, just check out the one or two vids at the beginning of each section for general principles etc. It uses Protools which I am not a user of, but still found it translatable.

Anyways, if you are into lynda.com, do they regularly give away their tuts for free like this - limited time full access to non members? Seem pretty generous, I don't see Macprovideo (my only other online tut experience) do this.

i was actually moving my space around this weekend... i tore down the whole "studio" and moved the desk etc. where to put my monitors was a big question for me, so it was nice to have a little movie to watch on that... and remind me of all that i had forgotten

I have used Lynda since 2005/2006? Cancelled my membership recently as I have most things covered but I highly recommend it for beginners and also for a bit of the intermediate stuff.
