New APC 40 user question here:
Is there a way to assign device controllers so they only affect the track device selected and don't overide other parameters?
If I say assign say controller 8 to a delay wet/dry level on clip one ( or on a send ) whenever I now touch that controller it automatically jumps to that effect no matter what track is assigned and overrides any other effect using that same controller.
It's got me stumped.
Ableton and APC40 Question
Re: Ableton and APC40 Question
Hey Peter, thanks for the answer.
However that's what I don't want it to do, I kinda want it to just control that devices assigned parameter only when its track is selected and return to controlling as per normal when other tracks are selected. Otherwise if I assign a controller myself whenever I touch that controller from now on it automatically jumps to that device.

It's already set up as a control surface, it's just not controlling some of the parameters I want it to.you need to set the apc40 up as a control surface...
Re: Ableton and APC40 Question

Re: Ableton and APC40 Question
NativeKontrol has a script called LIME.
It lets you customize which parameters the bluehand controls on Live's native devices.
What about Racks?
Maybe I am misunderstanding what your after though.
