Using Motu ultralite Mk1 as digital mixer with Ableton

Post by Ben_Binary » Wed Aug 08, 2012 4:41 am

Hoping for some help with this.
I am trying to use my Motu Ultralite Mk1 with ableton.

Using Waldorf Rack Attack, Juno60 and Nord Modular
all midi out and audio in.

But I am getting phased audio from the synths when I use it with external audio instruments.
So it sounds like there is TWO audio sources but I cannot get rid of this phantom second sound.
Tried using cuemix to remove any second routing but still got this phantom second sound.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

far and away the most likely cause is that you are both hardware monitoring through CueMix and software monitoring through Live at the same time.

if you don't want to use the hardware monitoring, make sure that all the faders are down in CueMix for whichever bus is selected.

Thanks Fishmonkey !

I thought I had done this so I tried it again but selected the output as "none" and yes. problem solved.
