Sample help?
Sample help?
I have a sample in my drum rack but it only plays as long as i hold the pad. Any way to make it play from beginning to end by only tapping the pad once? I'm using an Akai MPK25 by the way.

go to options/prefs/launch (ctrl+,)
switch to 'trigger' in that first 'default launch mode' dropdown...sounds like it is set to toggle now....

I think that's for a Session clip, I'm pretty sure this is for drum racks.simmerdown wrote:go to options/prefs/launch (ctrl+,)

To contribute, turn up the release time in the Sampler in the drum rack for that sample.

my second guess, dam you Warrior Bob!
Re: Sample help?
Drumrack could really do with a 1 shot mode per pad.

Simpler with a long release is basically this. Of course, I think there's an upper limit of 60 seconds, but I've never needed to go anywhere near that.Zero B wrote:Drumrack could really do with a 1 shot mode per pad.
