Graphic lag now 8.3.3 mac

Grrrrr......WTF....
Mac 10.6.8 Ableton 8.3.3
The graphic has a strange behavior.

Live uses a huge amount of Video RAM in OSX... could that be it?

I have no idea what could be wrong I go back to 8.2.8. one of the video problem is! let's say I pick up a wave file and want to set the start when the graphics are nothing like it has been.

No problems here with Live 8.3.3 and OSX 10.6.8 on a older Macbook with onboard graphic.

I've never had this graphic problems before, this is something quite new to me.
I've been working in Ableton Live since version 5 without trouble.
