Yes..and I'm a very dissapointed long time user with a bunch of sound libraries, who wrote a review of it for the local magazine called "Audio Pro". It's irreplaceable to me.

Some of their tech is already appearing in GarageBand and Logic’s sampler is long overdue for a complete overhaul. I’m sure a lot of their tech will make its way into that as well. Maybe they’ll even make their previous Alchemy add-on libraries compatible. But of course you’ll have to be an Apple and Logic user.

I might get Logic just for Alchemy 2. But it won't be fair for Windows user. I hate such type of situation. It's going to be a bitter way to upgrade and I'd rather thinking about Zebra 3 right now.

The more I play, the more I enjoy their freebies. Things like Zebralette is useful as a simplified Zebra, the same as Tyrell which is some kind of a simpler Diva. While Podolski and and Triple Cheese has their own charm. I'd love to see the development of their drum machine.

In case you dont know, a new reverb plugin. Research-ware, free, and will remain so. Im on holiday and only have access to an awful speaker system, but it sounds like you can get pretty creative with it. High cpu, but sounds great. I think.

That depends on what you feel is missing from your plug in collection as of now. I own both. Zebra is a wavetable synth with some additive capabilities in it's comb filter; Diva is an analog modeling synth with a selectable digital oscillator thrown in for fun.
Zebra is more versatile, but arguably Diva has better filters and a "phatter" sound, as it's main thing is emulating hardware.
Zebra is deep as hell, you can easily write a whole song using Zebra only for everything and it wouldn't necessarily sound like you used only one synth.

Another question only you can answer is how deep are you into programming your synths? If you're a filter tweaker mainly, then Diva for sure, if you get into learning a synth a making it your own, then Zebra.

I use Diva and like the way it sounds. Don't know much about synths though, and end up blindly tweaking presets.

I upgraded my Logic license for just this reason, Alchemy has some really nice pads in there. But trying to integrate that into Ableton was a few steps than I wanted to deal with.

What a great synth it is. My wife already gives me a hard time about "going out the back" (where I have everything setup) - I fear she's in for a rough ride over the next few weeks

I really like the modular approach. I find it much easier to understand what a patch is doing because you can see it all in front of you with cables. Interesting watching what happens on the scope as you change the various routings and parameter values.
