Cheapest way to get my hands on Pro Tools?

Post by Punky921 » Tue Aug 21, 2012 2:14 pm

I need to get my hands on a copy of Pro Tools in order to study up for a job interview as an audio editor. What's the cheapest way to do it legally? Anyone have any suggestions?

Do you know which ones? My friend suggested the M-Audio Fast Track, but it doesn't look like it comes with it anymore.

I think you only get 'protools express' with interfaces now...
there are combo deals though...

protools 10 doesn't need an 'avid/digidisign/maudio interface' anymore..
so you can just buy the software... (expensive !)

well.. there's not much need for testing I suppose..
it's fookin protools... got the market locked down..

punky :
it takes time/practice to become a protools ninja..
so I hope you got some before the interview..
try and focus on the workflow most likely for that kind of studio
