Hi guys!
here is a strange one...
1 track / 1 group / 1 return track (exciter)
-the track is a part of the group and sends to the exciter
-an EQ8 is placed for group processing
hear what happens just by turning EQ8 on/off (every 2 bars in the example).
no automation no EQ settings. All 8 eq processors are off. Just device on/off

Live 8 / win 7 64 bit
if you want download the live pack from here to check/confirm (Live 8 minimum)

or just set it up
-a track in a group that send in a return track with saturator in it
-an eq8 in the group and try device on/off
can you confirm this please? (EQ8 related strange bug)
Re: can you confirm this please? (EQ8 related strange bug)
strange, indeed.
turn off the high quality option and the effect's gone.
so it might have to do something with the EQ8 HQ setting.
my theory is: HQ mode outputs higher frequencies than the normal mode and this shaping you set actually pick those frequencies up.
however it is a bug because when no processing at all (EQ is off) the the whole spectrum should go through to the sends as well

Probably over sampling.
