problem triggering new time signature in session view, HELP!

So my live set used to trigger odd times like 6/8 and 3/4 with ease by just putting the time sig in the scene label on the right. Now it gets completely off, (but the time sig does change in the top left next to metronome button). I don't know if it happened with the 8.3.3 update or extra ipad controllers or what. Has anyone else experienced this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to be forced to use 4/4..... Thanks.

nvm figured it out. I had a odd loop set with the locater bracket in arrangement view.
