Ableton Drum Machines / ADM

Post by mickmike » Sat Sep 01, 2012 11:06 pm

quick post. I'm tempted to get ableton Drum machines, mainly for the 808, 909 sounds, but don't see lot of info ( and they're samples ). Otherwise looking at audiotealism ADM. Any info/comparison appreciated.

main difference will be the sequencer on adm, i really like the way you can build grooves with it instead of having to write a ton of notes on the grid

Thinking prob adm cos like building grooves, maschine might be a bit o.t.t. Wanna keep the drum side of things simple and intuitive. Looking for drum love

ADM has a great swing function too, plus you can load it with any sample you want like bass notes and keep looking to a drum machine to get out totally unexpected results
