I really enjoyed Drive. The soundtrack inspired me to write the music in my signiture.

It got a lot of bad reviews, but I was really impressed with Act Of Valor. Good action movie, makes you think about what kind of stuff those guys need to deal with day to day.

Weird. Even though this is from 2007, this was the movie that sprang to my mind when I saw the thread. Whenever someone asks for a movie recommendation, this one is always my first. Loved it. And the whole thing takes place in a living room pretty much.

Take Shelter - w/ Michael Shannon from Boardwalk Empire & Jessica Chastain from Tree of Life. Also, check out the first movie from director Jeff Nichols (also w/ Shannon) Shotgun Stories. Nichols is going to be huge, gotta be one of the best young directors out there. Both fantastic movies. Can't recommend them highly enough.
