How to actually use operator's pitch bend automation?
How to actually use operator's pitch bend automation?
Ok so I know where the pitch bend parameter is located in operator, but I can't figure out for the life of me. How to bring up its automation on the actual grid, so that I can affect said midi as I see fit. For example say I want a pitch bend of 0 across the first two bars of an Fmaj7 Chord (Unaffected basically), then on the third bar I raise it to a pitch bend of +3 (a Gmaj7 Chord) How would I go about getting the actual pitch bend automation line to show up on the grid so I could do this manually? Can you not affect pitch bend without a wheel on a midi keyboard? Seems kinda of "caveman" seeing as how technical a program like a DAW is.

Set the pitch bend range within Operator. Draw the pitch bend automation curve in Envelopes/MIDI Ctrl/Pitch bend in the clip.
Is this is what you are after?

Yes and I was able to edit to taste......now my next question is why is this automation in the envelope section of clip view?fidelitarean wrote:Set the pitch bend range within Operator. Draw the pitch bend automation curve in Envelopes/MIDI Ctrl/Pitch bend in the clip.

Presumably because it is MIDI data you are editing not Operator parameter data.
