Novation Zero SL Mkii lcd screen

I got a really good deal on a used one at guitar center and just happened to have some extra cash so I bought it. I am beginning to have second thoughts about my purchase though because the more I increase the values of the 8 endless encoders and the more leds light up the harder it is to read the lcd screen. Is this fixable? Like if I buy the AC adapter or something? I would like to hold onto it because it's actually really useful when running both Live and Reason but if I can't read the screen it's not at all.

Don't know if it's the same problem you're having but my lcd screen eventually stopped displaying characters. Fortunately I was able to get it replaced under warranty. Hope you get it sorted out.
