Interface DI Box Question to all you Setup Freaks

If i connect a DI box like this

to the main input of my Audio 6 like this
http://www.lojavipdjban.com.br/produtos/audio6-3.jpg

and than connect a usual dynamic mic like the SM 58 for instance to the DI Box!

Will this work?

It will work, but the DI won't serve any purpose.

You mean it has no purpose in influencing the sound?
I just would like to use this in a live set up.
So i can connect a mic to ableton and use the other channels of my interface
for running Traktor!
And because a mic cable has no cinch i thought about using a DI Box!

You can simply connect your mic to your Audio 6 using an XLR to RCA cable, and since the Audio 6 has got no balanced inputs, the DI will do nothing whatsoever.

I can't open your second jpg, but as far as I know, your mic is going to need a preamp of some kind. Just hooking the mic to the line inputs on your Audio 6 isn't going to cut it. If you need something insanely basic, the Presonus BlueTube is okay. They can often be found at Guitar Center used for a song.
