Well - glad it's not just me then. I agree that it looks rushed/unfinished/crap. I don't like it.

For your own good install Chrome. It is worlds ahead of IE.
WAT?
Nobody is running IE. Or even mentioned it. Are you from the past?

Browsers I have installed - Safari, Opera, Firefox, Chrome, and IETester.
Yeah, I'm from the past. I'm even still using Live 7. Gets the job done though ;)

The new look feels like two Bruce Lees roundhouse kicking me in both eyes simultaneously.

Hi, I'm running Windows XP with IE8 and the new look of the Ableton website is all messed up for me. It looks like bits are missing/incomplete looking pages etc. I searched for this forum and on one link it looks like the good old one but if I go via the new Ableton website it's just a long list of questions with no menus etc. I've contacted support. Anyone else with the same specs as me having problems? Looking at installing Google Chrome. Recommended? Help. Please.

The overall design sense of Ableton (new site, Live 9 and Push) is really strong, especially when compared to other music software and hardware makers. They have always had a look that seemed very carefully considered and executed with far less emphasis on decoration and superfluous elements. I'm really enjoying the new look, but I can understand the website could stylistically be a bit of an acquired taste. I certainly wouldn't say it looks rushed though, quite the opposite - it comes off as very well crafted and carefully built to me (especially considering the entire site is responsive - try resizing your browser window to phone-size). I think the work is great and commend whoever at Ableton is responsible for it!

Yikes! Looks like Ableton's web and marketing staff have been able to work freely without any sane input from the outside world. Big failure to let a product launch cripple the look and usability of the entire web site. What previously was a well laid out and easy to navigate design is now a total mess.

But I'm all for change if it's backed up by valid arguments. So please enlighten me Ableton, I'm all ears.

(Live 9 looks ok though.)

I thought they nicked the forum for a minute. The only way I can get here is by Googling "Ableton Forum." My old bookmarks have been axed.

My work computer is XP with IE, and, in a word, ableton.com looks... challeneged. It looks way better on my iPhone.

This is going to take some getting used to. But, as always, I'm game. Stoked for Live 9 and Push. That's the only thing that matters, really.

The website looks ok, the forum looks horrible. I can't even see people's user names! And I don't have a quote button.

The most amazing thing is hat some people think its OK!

Sand! Grey, mauve, cyan and #0000FF is a colour scheme which is ok?

I guess Ableton really didn't need to splash out on designers after all, a cost well saved, users are satisfied with this. I will take this strategy into consideration.

I'm having the exact same problem. Responses are not lined up inside the threads, borders are biege and text area is white with blue text in some places and black in others. Real messed on my iMac (OSX 10.6.8).

However, website looked fine and the whole thing looks good on my ipad so...

The new ableton looks fine.. i like it.
and btw. IE 9 & 10 is getting on par with chrome and firefox ( dunno about mac versions ). Still lacking in the developer department ( nothing beats chrome there )

The Forum on the other....MAKE IT GO AWAY ( or back at least )!!
