That's all i'd like to know also. I would be shocked with the development time of 9 if it has not been fixed.

In fact i always thought that because doing it would be such a big job, that's why 9 has been in development for so long.

Man i hope i am right.

If they haven't fixed it now, after such a long gap from 8 to 9, then i don't think it would ever be fixed, so,

yeah, would also love to know... Maybe i will be able to get it on the beta and find out for myself!

Live 8 already had "Automatic plug-in delay compensation"

the question here is, has it been improved for Live 9 ?
more specifically, does automation latency compensation work reliably now ?

Not if you're using time-based plugins. Theirs still issues with delay between plugins on the same channel.

We need an answer for this! If this is still an issue in Ableton then I'm going to have to say goodbye.

How about the noticeable delay when recording MIDI using IN / AUTO monitoring modes?? This has been an issue for years that I absolutely must have a fix for, otherwise I'm seriously thinking of investing in Reaper or Bitwig. :?

would love to know more but yeah surely this has to be improved, I can't imagine session view automation working well at all, automation looping up, if it's all phasey that would suck so much, it'd take the shine of session view automation, I always assumed these problems were linked somehow, so I don't know.... need to know more...super excited about 9 though, I think it will be amazing if it has these features with tight PDC.
