live9: has the VST-plug sluggishness/problems been repaired?

Live9 looks very promising but has anything been done to the huge problems in project sluggishness (and crashes) associated with projects that have a lot of VST plugins? This is the single most important question I want to know before I decide if I will update.

And also the not-dying Live8.x.x.exe problem (in Windows) would be interesting to know if they did anything to it.

I'm curious too, but you have to wait and test the demo...
You won't know for sure till then, and you'll definitely not become
any answer that it's not being resolved.

"Yes, we finished Live 9 but VST is still sluggish"!

I think that silence from Abletons side would mean exactly that. But if David (or somebody else) comes here to describe that things have been done under the hood in regards to this it would be very promising.

I think this is a windows problem (xp? can´t recall it happening on 7) with usb. I always got the program to quit by unplugging a certain midi device. And i remember having read that this can´t be fixed by ableton.
