how monitor overdub
how monitor overdub
I have recorded some midi and I want to overdub a few more parts. How can I hear what I have recorded at the same time as practising the new part without recording it. I tried monitor in, auto and off but none of these give me this option. Auto - I cannot hear unless record enable, in - I can't hear the original part already recorded, off- I also cannot monitor what Im practising?? AM i missing something?

Re: how monitor overdub
If I understand you correctly, all you have to do is un-click the button at the top that says "OVR" (overdub). It should be highlighted. Now just arm the track that you recorded the midi on and practice away.
