Beta 2.0 is online

Post by Alex » Fri Dec 06, 2002 7:18 am

Hello,

we're happy to announce the first public beta of Live 2.0 for tonight. We cannot provide an exact time, probably it will be in the morning of this Saturday -:).

We're hope to get as much feedback as possible from you. It's also very important to get these beta feedback a soon as possible. For this reason we decided to release the beta before the weekend so that hopefully many of you have the time to play with it.

You'll find some additional information on the website if the beta is available, inclusing some tips how to send & report good feedback to us.

much regards,
have a good weekend all together
Alex

Hi,

the beta 2.0 is a stand alone working program. It has no dependencies to former versions of Live. Install the beta doesn't mean to uninstall or update a former version of Live.
You can have them installed parallel, also on the Pc.
Everybody is invited to participate on the public beta run.

regards,
Alex

Thanks, Ableton, for providing a public beta.
Much better than releasing a buggy product and then having us all wait for patches.

Waiting makes the heart grow fonder...

Yo Alex!

Is this beta test limited to current owners of Live 1.x, or is it truly a PUBLIC beta?
