people are getting crazy about this desk all over the place (myself included). I guess Ableton may have to think about starting a studio furniture line as well

Just to be sure... Is all this fuss over that shitty looking piece of desk furniture with the shiny metal legs with the exposed end grain plywood and the brown colored laminate on the faces..? :?

yeh, that one

so goddamn obvious it is homemade (with sculpted legs added) look at the random holes in the front veneer, look how its asymetrical...either hommade or produced in a factory that is too cool to care about quality control

as far as i can see the question was "what desk it is?" not "can you please give me your bitter opinion on things you really don't have any clue on?" .. guess it's symptomatic of this or any other open forum..

Okay, a late clearing on this subject. With all the doubt I just figured I would go straight to the source. So I wrote Robert, and he answered me yesterday, which was nice! And yes, the desk is homemade. He got the wood cut in the right measures, and the legs is from here:

Happy building people :)
