CHANGING SCENES WITH DIFFERENT TEMPO

Post by nullpointer » Sat Aug 31, 2013 9:22 am

Hi, Lets say I have

Scene1 100BPM
Scene2 120BPM

Is it possible to change from Scene1 to Scene2 gradually ? Lets say from 100BPM to 120BPM in 5 seconds ?

Thanks !

You can midi map the tempo to a knob or something. Or use your mouse if you don't have a controller.

I heard someone talking about maxforlive lfo mapped to tempo...

Tried and not working at all!
it was requested and it was forgotten.

If you want to move the bpm gradually then you'll have to edit the tempo in arrangement to slide from 100 to 120.

like mirthan said, you can assign a knob to the tempo and be sure to set minimal value to 100 and max to 120.

maybe with clyphx too, it can be done with a little effort

Should be in Session View, because is in a Live Set, and yes I mapped the tempo to a knob controller (VESTA600) as well, but you have to be careful, because its not so precise and you can easily go from 100 to 200 ;-), and then its difficult to adjust it manually again to 120......
Would be nice an automatic smooth adjustment from different tempos

nullpointer - you can limit the value range when you midi-map, as Hermanus said, so you don't go to 200bpm! :D

“... it was just to make an average listener go: ‘What the fuck is this?’ That’s a real inspiration for me and something that I will explore more on upcoming recordings.”
