Trying to grab a section of a vocal audio recording in an arrangement and put it in Simpler. Any help would me appreciated.
Thanks

put an empty simpler on a track.... in arrange view, highlight the part of the vocal you want.... click on the track that has the simpler then drag and drop the highlighted part of the vocal. That's it! simple drag and drop.

Find the audio part you want, cut and paste it into a new audio track. Then insert a simpler into a MIDI track. Drag the audio clip into simpler. It's not more complicated than that.

do you have both the simpler and (previously) highlighted audio in view at the same time? Don't click on the audio 2 times... just click-hold and drag.

Make sure to grab the colored title bar of the clip and not the actual waveform. Keep in mind that it will only copy the section you have highlighted. It is a nice feature :)
