Why doesn't the clip start marker move with the loop brace?

I've noticed that when I drag a loop brace around in an audio clip, the start marker tends to somehow move independently of the loop start, and often ends up in a different position. It's nice to be able to have separate loop & clip start points, but is there any way to sort of 'pin' the start marker to the loop start so that they are always the same?

I'm talking about clips that *are* looped. IE when you have a whole song warped & looped, if you drag the loop brace around, the start marker doesn't follow the loop start marker.

Yeah, I know about that too. You can also just enter a measure number in the clip's start box and have the loop jump around & they seem to stay together. I prefer to just drag the brace around (I find it faster for getting the bits I want), but it's kind of annoying to have to move the brace AND the start marker each time.

I'm looking for this too - it's really annoying if you are scanning through a longer clip and trying to see what loops sound good in context.

regarding the OP, i've seen it happen too but used other ways, like the start box method, to avoid having to learn what i was doing wrong.
