I am so glad I stayed up past midnight to finish the education package I am giving tomorrow, scratch that - today on neurological assessment! Thanks Ableton! The great thing is, I have some holidays coming up, so can beta test to my hearts content! :D

Are you trolling?

Of course you can; just make sure you install the beta at a different location.

Yeah, BTW: is the lack of support for video and Max for Live in the 64-bit version pretty much the only thing that's holding Live 8.4 back at the moment?

Nah - was a serious question - I knew you could with other versions but didn't know whether this would apply to the beta.

And since it's likely to be buggy one needs to be able to go back of course.

Is the project format the same? So if I save a project in live 9 can I open it in 8?

I suppose the best way is to try it!
