I am so glad I stayed up past midnight to finish the education package I am giving tomorrow, scratch that - today on neurological assessment! Thanks Ableton! The great thing is, I have some holidays coming up, so can beta test to my hearts content!

Of course you can; just make sure you install the beta at a different location.
Re: Beta Sign Up open!
i try 32 bit until m4l is working with 64 bit
Re: Beta Sign Up open!
Yeah, BTW: is the lack of support for video and Max for Live in the 64-bit version pretty much the only thing that's holding Live 8.4 back at the moment?
Re: Beta Sign Up open!

Re: Beta Sign Up open!
Nah - was a serious question - I knew you could with other versions but didn't know whether this would apply to the beta.sporkles wrote:Are you trolling?ian_halsall wrote:Can you keep your existing live 8 on the same machine I wonder?

And since it's likely to be buggy one needs to be able to go back of course.
Is the project format the same? So if I save a project in live 9 can I open it in 8?
I suppose the best way is to try it!
Re: Beta Sign Up open!
I had a brief look in the Beta FAQ and dont think you can Ian
Re: Beta Sign Up open!
as i remember it is possible to use live 8 projects in live 9 but no backward compatibility.
