I've searched around and not found any great info on the beat-slicing workflow with Push. Does anyone have any insight on how it will go?
I'm guessing I would drag, say, a 100 bpm drumloop into a 140bpm session in ableton and make sure my warp markers are the way I like them. Then I get a little foggy as to how the beat would be chopped and sent to the pads in Push. I would like to map the kick, snare, hat, etc to different pads for an MPC-like workflow and then resequence the beat slices from Push. Any insight is greatly appreciated.
