No audio output in sampler after 'distribute ranges equally'

Post by Noise Agent » Sat Dec 22, 2012 9:41 am

So I am trying to build a drum rack that has multiple samplers with 128 samples each, following the steps in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TO3z8LtP5U, and for some reason after filling the sampler with 128 samples and the right clicking and selecting 'distribute ranges equally', the sampler goes dead and does not output audio when i hit the corresponding midi note. I see midi input but no audio output... Any ideas why this may be happening?

Feedback will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I don't use the sampler - it's not elegant, but would check the following:

if all the regions have samples assigned,
if those samples are recognized by sampler
if the sampler parameters for each of the samples are ok (vol. level, sampling regions etc.)
if the itself is set the proper way (main device vol., filter parameters and so on)
if the track parameters are ok (routing etc)
