easiest way to export warped clips from session view ?

Post by kompletemail » Thu Jan 03, 2013 10:21 pm

whats the easiest way to export warped clips from session view to you hd?

I always find it the trickiest thing to do, would like to hear your suggestions.

I wish there was a drag and drop audio out like in Maschine.

Will this be in Live 9? I dont recall seeing it in the videos of the upcoming release.

1. Freeze the track
2. Flatten the track
3. drag clip to desktop
4. undo the flatten
5. undo the freeze

wow that works pretty good.

I can use that tip thanks for replying.

If I wanted to bypass the draging out of the flattened audio chan. and just simply stretch and export the clip how would you say the best way to that would be?

I thought we are able to
1.)push play on the clip you want to export (so the green arrow is lit) and
2.)then choose export from chooser menu and choose the track # or master track + beats and bar length.
3. hit export.

and it will export only the clip that had the green arrow lit up and only the specified beats and bar amounts.

You could also just drag the clip to arrangement view and do the normal File/Export. Start dragging clip, hit tab, drop clip. Then file export.

You could also use the "Resampling" source on a track. and resample the clips you want out of Live into that clip, then drag that one to desktop.
