nanoKontrol2 faders - can't modify

Hi. I've been trying for several days now to modify an ableton live User Configuration file so that my Korg nanoKontrol2 will automatically control 3rd party vst parameters. This procedure is described here viewtopic.php?f=4&t=164575

I can get this to work for the 8 rotary pots on the NK2, but i cannot get the faders to do anything other than control Live.

I want to be able to turn the NK2 into a 'synth' controller, using the faders for things like ADSR etc
I know i could just use the 'midi learn' but doing it that way uses up the controls very quickly if i assign them all to one synth, doing it the above way switches automatically to whichever synth you select and i should in theory be able to use the whole NK2 on every synth.

Any help would be great. Thanks!
