What I was curious about was to know if Ableton Push would benefit from a computer with USB 3.0 ports. Would the Push unit see better performance plugged into a USB 3.0 port?

I suppose there could be an improvement of some infinitesimal amount in terms of latency for something like this over USB3 but with your sound card and drivers largely being the bottleneck in such a device then no, USB3 won't make a difference.
