hey all, i use sampler a lot and would like to start saving my instruments outside of sessions
does anyone know if the sample used in a custom instrument gets imbedded in the preset?
if so does anyone know how this is done?
thanks

yes, sample will be in there...first rename the sampler, save with the disc symbol in the upper right corner
Re: saving your own instruments
on your samplers title head all the way to the right is the "save preset" button...push that and it will save it. it keeps the sample.
if you are building an instrument rack that same button is in the bottom left hand corner of the rack...it also keeps the samples from any of the samplers you may have in the i. rack don't forget to name the racks/sampler so you know what they are by clicking on the title and pressing command+r (on a mac) not sure what that is in PC world. but im sure the manual, could tell you that.
