Who was interested enough to learn of sound synthesis?
Do you find it useful in your work, and do you find it worth spending some of your time?

If you like creating your own sounds it's worth understanding how synthesis works.

Synth Secrets from SoundOnSound is a great place to start.

I agree with previous post. Passing a course on synthesis, so wanted to see how others look at it.
