I need a cheap, small interface

Post by Punky921 » Wed Feb 06, 2013 8:49 pm

Hey guys,

So I use Ableton at my job to edit audio and occasionally create musical content for podcasts. I need something with a decent headphone output that is going to be better than the 8000 (literally!) samples of my crappy Dell work computer. I don't have and can't use monitors, so the headphone output is what I'm going to rely on.

Anyone have any advice? I'd love for it to be buss powered and less than $150 and closer to (or below) $100 would be better. The office is paying for it, most likely, but my purchases will be scrutinized.

I was thinking about Focusrite's VRM Box. http://global.focusrite.com/usb-audio-i ... es/vrm-box
